Pleased to meet you!
Hi, Thank you for visiting my page.
Hi, I'm Hrishitha! My journey into biomedical engineering began with a YouTube video where a BME explained how she chose innovation over medicine to save more lives. That idea stuck with me—biomedical engineers bridge medicine and engineering, creating tools that empower doctors to treat patients.
During my M.S. at Duke, I discovered my passion for the messy, hands-on process of prototyping and user feedback. I love seeing where a design falls short, learning from healthcare providers, and iterating to make it better. Those “aha!” moments—when clinicians reveal insights I hadn’t considered—are what drive me.
Whether it’s redesigning a surgical tool for better ergonomics or analyzing tissue to understand muscle structure, I’m energized by solving real-world problems through R&D. I aspire to develop medical devices that meet complex health challenges and improve lives. Wherever my career takes me next, I’m excited to keep learning, building, and making an impact.
