My project C-Marrow needle started with this idea.
The selection of materials for the C-Marrow medical device was a meticulous process, driven by a commitment to durability, precision, and safety. ABS plastic, renowned for its strength, impact resistance, and affordability, forms the robust body of the device. Its lightweight nature ensures ease of handling, while its structural integrity stands up to the rigors of medical procedures.
Complementing this, stainless steel emerges as the ideal choice for critical components, such as the biopsy and piercing needles. Stainless steel's exceptional corrosion resistance, high strength, and biocompatibility make it a reliable material in medical applications, ensuring the C-Marrow device not only withstands the test of time but also upholds the highest standards of hygiene and patient safety.
